Palo Santo , a mystical South American fragrant tree, known as the ‘sacred tree’ in Spanish.
It is found primarily in South America and parts of Central America. Palo Santo is a highly sought-after purifier that is rare, emits a rich fragrance, purifies the room and invites good fortune. The indigenous people of Latin America called it the ‘tree of the gods’ and used it to ward off evil spirits. Because of his high fragrance and cleansing power, it has attracted the attention of people in the fashion industry, yoga teachers and others in the New York area who are sensitive to sustainable lifestyles. When lit, its rich, sweet scent fills a room and can be used for smudging to drive away evil spirits and bring good luck, making it the perfect aroma for a sustainable lifestyle that respects nature and the environment.
Palo Santo is usually lit on the fragrant wood itself.
It is smoky and difficult to handle, so it has been made into an easy-to-use incense.
